The Journey of Nothingness!

I didn’t want to be Zero, I wanted to be something or the other. Be it in my career or in life in general- I always aimed at being something.

Lately, I have come to realize on a spiritual level that you don’t need to be anything. You can delve into nothingness and be one with the existence around and just be nothing.

Well I still have to realize the beauty of Nothingness but I have started my journey if it happens to be one.

The journey of BEING with no assumptions, notions, prejudices…. Just be like the wonderful trees, birds, ocean, sky, mountains, fellow beings- enjoying their presence in all entirety!

Yellow Ball of Gold- Sunrise!

Sunrise!

As I went about my morning walk up on the terrace of my home in Bangalore, the Sun was making it’s way up. It’s move up on the stage was so grand that I had to grab my camera and focus on its entrance.

It was a poised way up and it was utterly elegant that I had to focus on getting these above shots. I was lost in time and wonder of this spectacle.

We are always so lost in our own world that we fail to look at the beauty around, the nature is a grand spectacle and every day, every moment is brand new.

What do you think of this? Have you come across any grand spectacle of nature?

Xcersing the Xtra Mile!

I remember going the Xtra mile when I ran a 10k Run, trekked up the Himalayas or sky dived from about 13000 feet.

Going the Xtra Mile always brings in a sense of triumph as I always learnt a bit more about myself- my strengths, weaknesses, the reserve energy that I can put forth when I am way too exhausted.

I think strenuous activities have always helped me know myself a lot better or more precisely the limitations of my body and mind.

What has got you go the Xtra Mile and what have you learnt?

Wanderlust- The bug has bit me!

My love for travel is increasing day by day.

It is not just the destination that I go to but the journey of planning (at times), the shopping before the trip, the research about the place which gets me all the more curious and wanting for more.

On the other hand, some travels just happen on a whim with no planning, no preparation- just about getting to the place and figuring out what to do.

The beauty of travel is the place, the people, the culture and the chance meetings that happen on the go.

I have learnt that people are very warm and courteous around the world. We all have the same psyche. Humanity rules! I hope it stays that way. Fingers crossed!

What do you think of traveling and the best part of travel?

Vibes #AtoZchallenge

V #AtoZChallenge

I think vibes go a long way in making connections- either positive or negative!

Being an introvert, I take a lot of time to make friends. But when I do, I am loyal to my friends.

I like people who are honest, have integrity and straight-forward.

Travel has helped me meet people from different cultures and walks of life. And just the sheer love for travel has landed me with a lot of positive acquaintances and also the entrepreneurial journey has helped me interact with inspiring people and the learning is immense. I think it is a common vibe which gets us started and some connections are worth it in the long run.

What do you think of vibes?

Unison #AtoZChallenge

U #AtoZChallenge

I have lately come to believe the power of unison!

I say it because there is a certain energy that gets created when people work towards the greater good in unison.

This energy could transform lives, world as a whole.

I am not sure whether this ideology seems practical. But lately reading a few facts about the Pyramids, watching the intriguing concept of the Avatar movie, reading about the consecration of the Dhyanalinga at the Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore makes this notion seems feasible in a way.

On a spiritual note, we have to realize our purpose or know ourselves inside out. With that our journey is the same and we can surely work in unison to get to the other dimension.

What do you have to say about this?

Trekking #AtoZChallenge

Trekking up the Himalayas is an adventure..

As one gets to see spellbinding landscapes-which change their color now and then, the mesmerizing clouds- white puffy butlers at one point to dark stallions by the evening, variety of fauna-the cute little marmots, geese, snow leopards, yaks and horses, the silence of the mountains- which speaks to anyone who wants to listen, the profound inner journey to self- makes up for an wholesome journey to the mountains!

Have you been on trekking up the mountains? What was your experience?

Beautiful Artistic Skies

S #AtoZchallenge

It was a royal feast for the eyes to look up at the sky everyday. The skies on the Western Hemisphere is unique in its own way.

This was a beautiful artistic view of the sky on a sunny day.

I love to see the starry studded sky above the Himalayan ranges. It is mesmerizing to see the milky way. I am yet to capture it in my camera. I hope to do it pretty soon.

This was a starry studded sky above the Himalayan ranges at about 14000 feet.

What is Religion? #AtoZchallenge

Religion….

R #Atoz challenge

Well yes it is a particular system of faith and worship according to the dictionary meaning.

But is it overrated? Is it blindly following a set of rituals, norms and rules?

I am not against any religion or not in favour of any. And I am not being an atheist as well. So, I am neither a believer nor a non-believer of God.

My questions arise from the perspective of mankind as to where are we getting to with all the unnecessary drama happening around the world in the name of religion.

Why can’t humanity be a religion by itself? We are all living in this beautiful world, why can’t we be beautiful enough to just be and love all irrespective of what we follow or not follow.

When are we going to realize this…. I hope it comes soon enough….

Compassion is the key…

A quiet conversation! #AtoZChallenge

A quiet conversation!

Q

I toiled up a gigantic mountain which broke my back and body completely. I profusely trudged along the rocky mountain laden with steep rugged boulders and slippery path. The air was getting thin and a slight breeze accompanied the hike up the Himalayas.

I was on the Goechala trail in the Kanchenjunga National Park, Sikkim, India. I heard and seen a lot about the trail in various blogs and websites. I had decided on a certain whim that I had to honor my decision of hiking up the Himalayas.

This opportunity came at the right time. Within a couple of months I was up here heaving myself up the gigantic mountain.

As I reached the final ascent for the day and reached about 12000 feet, I could see the wide expanse of the mountain ranges all over.

There was a subtle conversation with the mountains and my soul. Something in me changed at that moment. For me it was rebirth. I was reborn in the lap of the Himalayas!

Words did not matter

Emotions weren’t surging

Physically I was broken

I was soul arrested.

Deep inside I could see the panorama of my soul!

Wow quite something the quiet conversation was!
